I have a fantastic and amazing surprise to share with you but the official, official “un-veiling” will have to wait! In the next few weeks I hope to launch a bran’ spankin’ new blogsite!!! I wanted something that was more “me”- something I could personalize and really brand. Something that would look professional and mostly, something that I’d be truly happy with. I needed to get the oomph behind me to blog again, and ladies and gentlemen, this new blogsite shall be it! I have a bunch of awesome shoot ideas up my sleeve and can not wait to have this new space to post them in. It’s going to be the new “4thel0ve Photography”.. I say new because I am seriously leaning towards more staged shoots from here on out. By staged I mean, personalized. So if you want a session booked, either be ready with some crazy ideas of your own (!!) or be ready to tell me what you’re into so I can think up some crazy ideas for you.
To everyone who reads this blog, I can not be more thankful! Each time I have logged onto this blog and seen the stats I have been in shock. On a day to day basis this blog has been read by more than 400 people!! Thank you so, so much and I hope you are ready to make the move to the new blog :)

Hope everyone had a relaxing and blessed weekend! I’ll post the rest of this shoot once I’m back from my break. This coming week is going to be rather busy for me, so I’m not sure how soon I’ll be back. I’ve agreed to teach a photography class twice a week at Providence Christian School, and that starts this Tuesday! I’m pretty excited and nervous all at the same time. I also gotta cook a bunch of meals for a sick friend and I’ve also decided I just might re-do my kitchen.. again! Umm.. yes. I shall be busy but I will hopefully get alot done this week. Thanks for all the patience with me as I take some time for myself :)
Once again I am going to be taking a blogging break. We all know how well the last one went ;).. well this time I’m serious. I’m not giving a time frame. I simply feel that my posts are laking anything interesting. And since I don’t really have any pictures to share with you other than re-edits and ones of Joelle.. well off I go :)
I do, however, have a head FULL of ideas!! Ideas so great, in my humble opinion, that I spent the entire afternoon yesterday crafting. This is all just going to bring me one step closer to where I wanna be! :)
I am still taking appointments and such, so if you’re interested send me a message! But, you may not walk away with your usual “just a person in a picture” shoot.. since I am now trying to incorporate more “eye-candy” into my work.

ONE. There’s a recipe I really, really want to try out that includes nutmeg. Apparently I don’t have nutmeg in my house, despite my extensive amounts of spices. As soon as I buy some nutmeg I will be making these delicious looking treats and then sharing the recipe with you!!
TWO. Joelle’s still not crawling.. but that’s okay by me, considering I still got kitchen cupboards without doors on them ;) She has, however, been sleeping really great for me the last while. Her bedtime’s still fairly late (9-9:30) and then she usually sleeps until around 7:30. I give her a bottle at that time and she goes back to sleep until 10. I’m wondering if I should move her bedtime up, but quite honestly it’s been pretty handy for me. Gives me a little time in the morning to do things I couldn’t do if she was awake :)
THREE. I’m anxiously awaiting warmer weather. Hurray for the forecasted 12 degrees for tomorrow!! :)
FOUR. Yesterday was a super successful day for me photography wise. I booked a total of 4 shoots, with another person expressing interest :) One of these shoots was booked for Saturday and shortly after she booked the shoot I had an amazing idea! I can’t wait to try it out and then share with you :)
FIVE. It’s funny how things change. I’m wishing Alberta had boardwalks. Wishing this made me remember all the times when I was younger that my Dad took us for walks on the boardwalks.. The boardwalks we always went to were over swamps and marshes and usually there was quite a bit of wildlife to see! Perhaps I’ll have to return to them next time I’m in Ontario!

I decided to take today to do some quick “house cleaning”, both around here and in reality! I’m sorry for the lack of pictures on this blog.. hopefully as the weather gets warmer I’ll have more to show you all! In fact, I have a shoot planned out that is just waiting for warmer weather! A shoot that I am super, super excited about :)
1. The Alphabet Project. If you’re waiting for “Letter D” and wondering why it’s taking so long to get it up, it’s because it’s been so cold out. Also because I had something previously planned but because of the weather it fell through so then I had to find an alternate. I am hoping to get it up by the end of next week.. but we will have to wait and see.
2. I only have one more opening available for June! Book your grad/senior shoot by March 12 (this Saturday) to qualify for the extra 5 images on your disc, as well as the 8×10 Standout Mount. [edited to add: I am now completely booked up for the month of June! If you are interested in a May or July shoot, contact me for available dates.]
3. “The List”. I have one or two ideas for “The List” but haven’t worked out all the details. Once again, I have a pile of ideas that will eventually make it to “The List”, but most of them require much warmer weather! Anyways, I will try to get “The List” up by the end of next week as well.

The puppies eyes are open now, and they’ve started moving around a little more. It’s so fun to see them grow bigger and bigger! I’ve already decided I wanna claim one of these little guys as my own, but since that’s not possible, I guess taking pictures to document it will just have to be a good substitute.
I stumbled across the orange wire basket the other day, along with a grey one, and fell “in love” with it instantly! It’s perfect for pictures and I can’t wait until I get a chance to take some newborn pictures. These baskets will be perfect!

I realize this is somewhat of a pain, since you don’t all have your dresses yet, but June is going to be very busy for me so I’d like to know what to expect and pace myself. As well, I will only be accepting 6 grad shoots in June.. May is completely open though so there’s always that option, or even July if you want to wait until after.

It was gorgeous out yesterday! The sun was shining so brightly, making the photography itch come back like crazy! I know I have said it before, but I mean this every time I say it. I am so lucky to have sisters who are willing to be “models” for me whenever I get the need to go out and take pictures.
I’d been meaning to try out a few new locations I stumbled on a while ago and with the sun shining, it seemed like the perfect opportunity.
I love that blue “wall” behind her. Especially cuz of her blue sweater and blue eyes. Not to mention that it’s the perfect spot compare to the sun!
I’m so blessed to have such beautiful, care-free people in my lives. Especially Mich and Mel. I love my sisters and the times we share together :)
